Terrific Tuesdays – Summer of 2026
Who: 6-12 Grade (includes students entering 6th grade and recent graduates)
When: Each Tuesday of Summer Recreation – must sign up at least 24 hours in advance.
- June 2: Bowling & Putt Putt | $15 | 1-4:30 PM
- Bring: water bottle, money if using arcade/concessions
- June 9: Meyer Broadway Park | $5 | 1-5 PM
- Free time & photo scavenger hunt around the park before a stop for ice cream on the way home (included in cost).
- Bring: water bottle
- June 16: Tubing Down River at En Gedi | $15 | 1-5 PM
- Go tubing/floating down the river at En Gedi Campground and Resort.
- Bring: water bottle, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, crocs or water shoes recommended, bag to carry belongings, money for concessions (optional)
- June 23: NONE – Gone to Middle School Camp
- June 30: Pumpkinvine Trail | $5 | 1-5 PM
- Biking & interactive fun on the Pumpkinvine Trail then ice cream (included).
- Bring: bike & helmet (we have limited to borrow, so reach out asap), water bottle, backpack to carry any other belongings.
- July 7: Cedar Point | $60 | 8 AM – 11 PM
- Soak up a long day at Cedar Point!
- Bring: sunscreen, money for lunch in the park (cashless) and dinner at fast food on the way home.
- July 14: Warren Dunes | $15 | 9 AM – 8 PM
- Join us at Lake Michigan for beach time, swimming, hike the dunes, lunch (included), and lots of fun in the sun.
- Bring: sunscreen, water bottle, swimsuit, towel, bag for belongings, money for fast food on way home
- July 21: Kalamazoo Growlers Baseball Game | $25 | 4:30-10:30 PM
- Sit behind the Growlers dugout in brand new seating – plus a free Growlers hat is included!
- Bring: money for concessions.
